Power Solids brings the power of high-end Solids Modeling into your MAX and Rhino environment. Power Solids is not just another modeler that utilizes the ACIS or Parasolid kernel. It utilizes a much newer kernel developed by IntegrityWare, Inc. (www.integrityware.com) over the past 6 years. This kernel has some unique technologies including: a powerful NURBS surfacing package originally developed by Wayne Tiller of GeomWare, Inc.; a native Non-Manifold Topological representation; very robust solids and non-solids Boolean operations; adaptive tolerancing to enable it to handle imported models for a variety of systems, a high-end filleting package that handles difficult large radius cases; a shelling and offsetting algorithm that handles self-intersections; and extraordinarily fast and reliable tessellation engine to convert the trimmed surfaces into meshes.
