iDof
Zoic Studios is known for their work on everything from feature films and episodic television to commercials. Recently, Zoic has begun using iDof in production of CBS’s “CSI:”. With the current release, iDof’s entire focus has been shifted from being a simple Depth of Field tool in Lightwave 3D to a compositing aid for simple or complex productions. Since iDof is capable of blurring directly in Lightwave 3D, it does not alienate freelancers or small studios. But with the addition of totally controlled DOF depth matte output, iDof now fits comfortably into the largest of Lightwave 3D pipelines.
